from my place in IV, not the garden, but it's super cool. I dig that you can see a front and rear leg.

 We've been feeding the red shoulder hawks gophers lately. They are super observant, this one flew down to check out the gopher within about 20 min. For some reason I love that it's perched on a piece of pvc pipe.

Garden task 4 5 2021

 My goal for this quarter is to tame our unruly compostable green waste area. There are 3 piles in the back, 1 for green weeds/plants, 2 for brown/dead weeds/plants, 3 for woody material to be run through a chipper. Organizing things will make it much easier to efficiently build nice compost piles. I propose that folks start with the area that is X'd off so that it is a straight and flat shot for a wheelbarrow to get in there.
